The Microbus is ideal for large group travel and day tours, offering a combination of comfort, space, and practicality. Equipped with 20 standard seats and 7–8 additional small chairs, it can accommodate up to 20 passengers without luggage for day trips. For groups with luggage, it is suitable for 13–15 passengers. Please note that the Microbus does not have a dedicated luggage compartment, so luggage must be stored alongside passengers.

    A: Most of our drivers communicate in Japanese or Mandarin. English ability is minimal, but basic communication can be supported using translation apps.

    A: At this time, we are unable to provide an English-speaking driver for this service.
  • Will I receive any assistance during the trip?
    A: Yes, a WhatsApp group will be arranged before your trip, including your driver and our support team, so you can easily reach us whenever needed.
  • What does the quoted price include?
    A: The rate covers driver service, fuel, and highway tolls (for routes outside the city). No hidden fees apply within the booked duration.
  • Is there an extra fee for overnight trips?
    A: Yes, if the driver needs to stay overnight outside the city, an additional fee of 10,000 JPY will be applied to cover accommodation and meals.
  • What are your operating hours?
    A: Our services run daily between 08:00 and 20:00.
  • Are there any additional costs I should consider?
    A: Extra charges may apply for extended hours, overnight stays, or special requests such as arranging an English-speaking driver.
  • Is hiring a private car in Japan a good option?
    A: A private car charter provides a more comfortable and flexible travel experience, making it ideal for families, groups, or travelers planning to visit multiple locations in one day.

PAYMENTS

40% of upfront payment from total transaction is needed to complete booking. The remaining can be paid using cash to your driver

Came to Japan with a big group of 18 for a day trip and the Toyota Coaster from Hire Car Japan was perfect — everyone sat comfortably with no issues at all. We visited Kamakura and Enoshima, absolutely loved the Great Buddha and the scenery around Enoshima. Driver Mr Lin had limited English but always had the translation app ready so communication was fine. What really stood out was Rin — the day before the trip she already sent a detailed message in the WhatsApp group with the full itinerary, pickup point and timing. For a group our size that made a huge difference, no confusion at all on the day. Will definitely use them again!
