    A: Yes, if the driver needs to stay overnight outside the city, an additional fee of 10,000 JPY will be applied to cover accommodation and meals.

    Big group of 10 heading to Furano and the Toyota Commuter from Hire Car Japan was ideal — everyone had plenty of room for the long drives through Hokkaido's stunning countryside. Farm Tomita was breathtaking, lavender in full bloom and unlike anything I've seen anywhere. Also visited Shikisai no Oka and Ningle Terrace. Driver Mr Abu had limited English but Rin's WhatsApp support throughout the day meant there was never any confusion. She was brilliant — replied almost instantly and even helped us rearrange a stop when we wanted more time at Farm Tomita. That kind of flexible support is so valuable when travelling abroad. Highly recommend for Aussie groups visiting Hokkaido!
