Came to Kyoto with 7 of us and the Toyota Hiace from Hire Car Japan was perfect — spacious, comfortable, and fit all our bags easily. Covered Fushimi Inari, Kinkaku-ji, Arashiyama, Nishiki Market, and Gion all in one day. Driver Mr Mike spoke fluent English which made communication really easy and natural throughout the day — he also knew Kyoto really well and suggested the best order to visit spots to avoid the crowds.
