Travelled to Kyoto with a group of 11 and the Toyota Commuter from Hire Car Japan was the perfect choice — everyone had plenty of room and it was comfortable throughout. Hit Fushimi Inari early before the crowds, then Kinkaku-ji, Arashiyama, Tenryu-ji, and ended with a walk through Gion at dusk. Driver Mr Zhou had limited English but always had the translation app ready so it was never an issue. Rin from the ops team was also really helpful — she suggested the best visiting order to avoid long queues at each spot. Highly recommend for large groups exploring Kyoto!
